Great Opportunity

I am currently serving as the Interim Director of Libraries in Denver. This is a great position for a library leader. Denver Public Schools has over 70,000 students and 145 schools. Look at the new position in the right hand column. I would be glad to talk with anyone about this job!

  • Hello, Mr. Sanger. This comment isn't directly regarding the Director position, but it is related. I appreciate any time you are willing to give me.
I am an MSLIS student at the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University in NY, and I will be graduating in December. I have been dreaming of moving to Colorado, either in the Denver or Boulder area. It is such a beautiful state, and I am quite impressed with the youth and vitality of the Denver area. I currently know no one in Colorado, and I am looking for a contact. Are there any opportunities in the Denver Public School District for a new Teacher Librarian? Do you have any advice or suggestions for this out-of-state applicant? So far, I have signed on too the CDE Library Jobline listserv. I have also looked at many of the Denver schools' websites. I would love to send you my resume, so you can see that I have both teaching and library experience.
Thank you so much for reading this and for considering my potential. I am so excited to start my career as a Teacher Librarian, and I would love do that in Denver!

    Best,
    Jennifer Sullivan
