I am a Teacher-Librarian at a Cape Town High School and I thoroughly enjoy my work. I would like to meet other Teacher-Librarians in order to share ideas and have interesting discussions. It's great to be able to connect with young people who are keen to broaden their minds, their interests and general knowledge, to further develop themselves in order to grow into mature, responsible young adults.Also, as a teacher I am able to make a difference in their lives accompanying them on their life journey of discovery. My motto in life is to "be a blessing" to others and those I meet in my daily life. I believe that "It does not matter how long we live, but rather how we lived our life" that matters most! My interests beyond books and other reading matters are: dancing for relaxation, walking to keep fit, listening to an eclectic range of music (jazz, old school, classical music, pop, etc.). Travelling and meeting other cultures - "going places and meeting new faces", and off course socialising and entertaining!
