Hi All, our high school library is establishing a new student scholarship. We are starting from the ground up. We plan to include in the criteria grade level, minimum GPA requirement, and an interest in reading or libraries, along with an acceptance to an accredited college or university.
We'd like to include a short essay portion where students can elaborate upon the impact of literacy, or reading in their lives.
I'm looking for suggestions on other criteria, selection process, and possible essay topics that have been successful.
