I'm loving the discussion on end of year protocol and have received so many good ideas. I know it is the end of the year, but I'm wondering if I can plug some good beginning of year ideas into my calendar for next year!
Does anyone do anything at the beginning of the year that helps that stressful time of year go a little bit smoother?

I just met with my Library Dream Team and we had a structured conversation about next year’s library program- how to make it better. I'm still chewing on what we talked about but most of the "big picture" things relate to some key staff development time to utilize the resources and collaborative model of the library. Even though we are doing some great things, not all educators know about our role or how to use our services. The group came up with some cool specific ideas too. I'll write later with some specifics.
