Research Elem. Teachers' PD Online

Hi everyone! I'm doing a project for my master's on how elementary school teachers use the internet for professional development and/or curriculum building. Does anyone have any good resources I should look at?

There's a lot on HS but I haven't seen much on elementary teachers.

  • Hi Lauren,

I do PD for elementary teachers in literacy, close reading and disciplinary research projects using NoodleTools' platform.  Notecards can be labeled by the teacher with exactly the kind of notes they want students to take.

    • Debbie,

I highly respect your work and am thrilled you responded to my post! Thank you for your insight.

I like the idea of labeling notecards for students at the elementary/middle school level and imagine teachers would too. It is a smart collaborative strategy with benefits for both the teacher and (teacher)librarian. I can't wait to use this technique when I have my own school.

All my best and thank you again,

      Lauren
