Hi, all! I'm a children's author--I mostly write for the middle-grade market--and I'm presenting a workshop on marketing to fellow authors. I'm curious how you, as teachers and librarians, mainly discover new books for your students. Word of mouth? Journals such as VOYA, Kirkus, etc.? Goodreads? Twitter?

In addition, are you likely to make recommendations of books to your state reading list programs? Or do you leave that to others?

Thanks for your help.
